Do you see what I see?

A video art installation piece with three side screenings for an annual collaborative juried Art Exhibition at the Project Broom Gallery in South Korea.

The definition of pareidolia is an illusionary perception to see random or unrelated visuals in ambiguous objects, such as mistakenly perceiving a smiley face on the moon. People often see something and are unable to perceive it as it is. Even when we are all looking at the same thing, everyone has different visualizations and opinions in their minds.

Do you see what I see? is an interpretation of the word pareidolia, through the game of charades. Perhaps people try to seek something that they cannot find through irrelevant moments and substances in life. Reading different perspectives according to different viewpoints is a cycle of pretend and prediction.

I was in charge of directing the initial concept and leading the overall creative direction among 14 artists and designers. / Art Direction, Exhibition Design, Brand Identity, video editing, logotype design, iconography, production, book design, print
